Yesterday I attended the Amazon AWS Summit in San Francisco. The breakout sessions were useful to me because I’m currently trying to do a deep dive into AWS. I have to reluctantly admit that it was actually inspiring to see what’s possible as far as affordable scalability goes. The summit is free to attend so the crowds and lines get a little silly. Also they will go about five minutes too long with the marketing speak in each breakout session, but thereafter it’s good stuff. There are 13 more events left and they take place around the globe:

  • Sydney - April 9
  • London - April 30
  • Auckland - May 7
  • Paris - May 13
  • Berlin - May 15
  • Stockholm - May 27
  • Sao Paulo - May 27
  • Amsterdam - June 10
  • New York - July 10
  • Tokyo - July 17-18
  • Beijing - TBD
  • Seoul - September 3
  • Tel Aviv - September 17
